FAYETTEVILLE EXPRESS PIPELINE PROJECT

The Fayetteville Express Pipeline is approximately 185 miles of natural gas pipeline that originates in Conway County, Arkansas and terminates in Panola County, Mississippi. This joint venture between Kinder Morgan Energy Partners L.P. and Energy Transfer Partner L.P. had committed to building and operating the pipeline in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner. A large part of this project included horizontal direction drilling to address the environmental issues related to the pipeline installation.

Chisholm Services was contracted to perform the Cold Water River Crossings 1, 2 and 3, a total of 4,800 feet. Chisholm Services complete the crossings ahead of schedule and on budget. The contractor for the project elected to award Chisholm Services an additional drill of 1,100 feet across Hwy. 49 in West Helena, Arkansas. This was completed in 8 days. The total number of days for all four crossing 41 days, surpassing the customer’s expectation by 4 days from the original three drill schedule.
